HI folks. I've been asked to do a few "pick up your dog's poo" signs. What's the correct or the most commonly used phrase?

Posted by Jeffrey Vrstal (Member # 2271) on :

"Walkin' yer Dog? NO SH**!"

or

"NO POO ZONE... samples will be DNA tested and matched. Violators will be prosecuted and humiliated to the full extent of the log. (or Law)"

"No Pet Relief" is the phrase I've seen.

I've thought about this before. It's hard to come up with the a witty comment that won't offend somebody.

The way I thought it ought to be handled is to just make a graphic showing how to drop some of the poop in a baggie with a trowel.

PLEASE, SCOOP THE POOP!
(add a dog silhouette)

NO Pet Relief.....very politically correct. [Wink]

I know it's kind of wordy, but I would prefer:

"If you let your dog crap in my yard, I'm gonna chase you down and make you eat it."

Good photos Jeff...you really researched this one. Hahaha [Smile]

Bob Burns got it right: Please scoop the poop.

I have some at the shop, but I can't think of the exact wording, I'll post in the morning if that helps.

Down at the Dog Park here in town.. oh yeah, we really do have a park that's just for dogs (even has a fire hydrant that sprays back! hehehe!).. they have signs reading "Please Pick Up After Your Pet" and below the sign on each post is a dispenser full of baggies people can use to do the pickin' up. There's also one of those International graphic symbols with the circle/bar placed over a dog that's squattin' printed on the signs and baggies.

Hydrants that squirt back! hahahaa... that's a hoot!

We have a dog park in the park by us too, complete with pooper-scooper baggie dispensers!

This has been a fun thread!
