I have had this customer for about 8 years now, about 2 box trucks a year, full blown graphics. Airbrushed water splash, reflective lettering and full color print on the back. graphics over the nose - the whole shot. I always give him good prices since he keeps coming back. Yesterday I e-mailed him the artwork for his new truck. This morning I get a call from his secretary asking for my e-mail address, strange but okay. Then later I get an e-mail with my artwork asking for a bid! I had to laugh, she did not even mention the airbrushing or reflective vinyl.
So of course I call the guy and let him know what happened, I really enjoyed it - he was so embarrased. I kindly reminded him when getting a quote to mention all of the details and told him I was not afraid of the competition and to let me know what he finds out. Cant blame him for checking I guess but it was fun to catch him doing it...
