I need to find an individual who can write a Windows driver to allow a Plotter/Cutter to user the Windows Print Spooler.

This driver will need to work on the ANAgraph series of plotters. I also need one for the NewStar plotters.

If you feel you can help, please respond by email to bhutton@xpel.com for further information.

Thank you,

This isn't really what you are looking for but may fix you up in the mean time. http://anagraph.com/anaplot_inst.html

Does any of your current programing have HPGL output? That would be Corel or something like that. Older spreadsheets interfaced with HP plotters. I haven't looked at anything like that recently. Is your plotter a serial connection?

We are using the serial hookup... We are using an ActiveX control that writes directly to the Windows Print Spooler. The plotter must be set to the GPGL command set.

Boyd,
There are 2 options that I can think of. The first is an excellent Windows plotter driver called WinLINE for $199 US from Drafting Solutions

http://www.draftingsolutions.nu/

The second is our add-on for CorelDRAW called SignTools for $205 US.

Signools contains drivers for over 140 vinyl cutters including both ANAgraph and New Star. Even if you are not using CorelDRAW the drivers can be installed separately from the program CD and used in other Windows applications. Below is a link to the support cutters.

I do all my designs in CD9 and save it in a PLT File and then cut from there, it works for me Brian
