I see poeple on TV or read about someone and think to myself " they would have to be on my list". Now when it is time to make a list I know I am missing someone, so for the moment, here is my five.
1. My Grandfather(my dad's dad) I never really knew him, he died when I was young, but the things I have been told we would have gotten along great.
2.Eero Saarinen Mike Pipes is probably one of the few here who knows who he is, but any one who can dream such a work of art and architecture, I would like to talk to.
3. Michealangelo(sp?) nuff said....
4. John Force Alot of people see all he has now, but don't look at what he started with to get where he is now. Some of our friends down under might know and maybe some on the shakey side.
5. 95% OF THE PEOPLE IN LETTERVILLE I have met quite a few, many made it to my meet, I met some at other meets. No place else like it in the world (Real world or Cyber World) Heck, I met what I consider to be one of my best friends in the world right here. This person I think so highly of, both personally and professionally, that if I were to re-marry my lovely wife, Penny, I would ask him to be my best man....

Hey Bubba Fair!
Terry Sawchuk was one of the greatest goalies to ever play. I read of exploits and would have really liked to have met him. He died in his early 40's in an off-season accident.

I agree Santo, but in the meantime, I'd really like to sit down and listen to each side so I could figure out what in the heck those two old geezers think they are doing. I know our media is slanted and it would be refreshing to hear from the horses mouth so to speak and ask some questions (do we have the lamest reporters covering news conference question/answer periods or what?) anyways, before I break my promise to Steve and get into areas that shouldn't be discussed on the BB, I'll stop and just say I'd like to meet with those guys

santo...i walked in a bar one nite in 1981 in sarasota called "the 5 oclock club"(a little hole in the wall)and i was new in fla couple months. the band was playin abd a guy with long blonde hair was singin.....at the break i was at the bar and the guy singin walked up next to me....so me wanting to compliment him..said this:" man you sound just like greg allman." guy looks at me and chuckles...says " i should, that who i am", and the rest of the guys are allman bros. band!!!!!!!!! so i didnt have dinner with greg and dickie, but i got to talk to both of that nite.as for dinner..... with musicians it would be: ozzie osborune, marilynn mason, frank zappa, pink floyd, and the gratful dead with janis joplin. as for artist, botichelli, carvagio, esher,degas,and frank lloyd wright. for movie people: sam kenison, bruce and brandon lee, robert micheum, lash larue.

Paint and George, The Brothers use to come top N.O. in 1970-71 and play The Warehouse concert hall. Full house that stayed all night. They usually hung around a couple of days and would show up on Sundays for a free concert on the levee at Audubon Park. They would play that "Mountain Jam" for hours. We would "cross the creek" from the West Bank drinking Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill and busting up some muggles. Forget about eating!
