Hello folks. I've been reading the posts for some time and decided to join the board. Hope you don't mind answering a ton of questions!!!!
I'm 49 and looking for something to do when I retire. I love hot rods(click on my sig) and want to do some small time vehicle graphics.I have flamed a few mailboxes, welding helmets, etc. and would like some info on some things I'm not sure about.

Yeah, welcome Skip, anybody can get into this at any age. You'll find every level of skill here from Newbie to Oh-my-Gawd. (and you've already got a great name for a car painter!). A lot of the older guys around here came up in this biz without the aid of a panel like this - paying our dues with real blood, sweat and tears. If we can help save you some agony, we will, with one condition... that you respect the craft. That means being realistic in your pricing so we can all make a living doing what we love, and being ethical in your business transactions so we can retain whatever respect we've earned as a trade, and even gain some. Do that and you'll have fast friends here.

Welcome skip!

To paraphrase a sign that you have likely seen on the dashboard of a hotrod..."Get In, Sit Down, Ask Questions and Hang On". This board is a great ride!
