Once again, I would like to thank everyone who took part in the "HEADS UP" design contest!
This contest was really a last minute (and admittedly half-baked) idea that was inspired by some recent posts right here in Letterville.
If enough people think this was a good idea (in principle) I would like to do more of these types of contests in future...and yes (I read you load and clear) more time will be allowed.
Each design submitted had a unique feel and its own positive qualities. After looking through the bunch of them several times over, I managed to narrow it down to just two. At that point, the decision became much more difficult -- Yet somehow, I don't think anyone will be surprized by my choice of winner...

my buddy bruce won it, that bubba is one of the best designer's i actually know. (seriously) the guy has an eye.

Wow! All great stuff here! I'm impressed!
Bruce, I loved the way you simplified everything with the color split, easy to read! I gotta say, that guy looks a bit like the 1-Shot character hehehe! Great layout!
