Hi heads.
My regular supplier ran out of avery a5 series purple today. I have a racecar that I need to get done soon and they told me that it would be 2 weeks before I could get it from them.
Another local supplier has the purple in Styletech's line but i've never used this film before? Has anyone ever used it? Is it a reliable film?
Thanks for your answers,
Ryan

Ryan, I dont know anything about Styltech, but check out Ameriban.. they have the A5 series.. 800-654-8405

Depending how far you are from Philly (they have a warehouse there) you are eligible for 1-2 day delivery at the normal UPS Ground rate.

I've never used the styletech, but my podner used it regularly. He was a roll striper and bought it in striping rolls up to 4" out of Florida. The rolls were HP.

Stay away from it. We've used alot of it. It says on the box that it's 8 year, but that's compete bull. We've had it shrink on us about a 1/16 of an inch in around 2 months on the sides of buses.

Adhesive is irregular......
Silicone liner has uneven coating...it makes it impossible to lift the vinyl off.
Its hard to weed..

There is a company here locally which sells
Styletech and I have used it. Believe me,
it is pure junk. The width of the roll varies
to where the punched holes are against the
edge in spots, the adhesive is uneven and
the backing paper is so thin the average
sprocket type plotter will tear it. The sprocket
holes are uneven and will not consistently
match the plotter sprocket pins for more than
a few feet, if that much. You get the idea!
