Hiya People, I thought this topic was addressed before, but I couldn't find it. What, if anything do you give your clients when it comes to banner care & installation. This is what I have so far: Thank you for your recent purchase... 1) When storing your banner, always roll it up with the lettering facing out. NEVER fold your banner.
2) Should your banner get soiled, use a mild detergent, such as Windex, and spray the banner lightly, then wipe off with a paper towel.
This is for a quantity of banners that will be shipped off site and then distributed to the end users.

Dont roll and store banner if its wet.. Use a tube to roll banner on...

Below is what I print and enclose with every banner shipped out.
Banner Care
1. Install banners so that they are pulled tight without stretching banner fabric.
2. Periodically check to insure that no slack has developed. Re-tension if necessary.
3. For storage or shipping, always roll banners onto a 3” or 4” tube. NEVER fold banners. Folding banners will cause them to permanently crease. Creases create weak spots and will cause early failure of banners.
4. It is best when possible to roll banners with the graphics and/or lettering facing out.
5. After installation, periodic cleaning using water and a mild detergent should keep you banner looking good. It should go without saying, but don’t forget that a banner is made of fabric, and when used outdoors, is at nature’s mercy. Be realistic in your expectations as banners are intended for temporarily conveying a message and are not a substitute for permanent signage.

My best suggestion is to hang the banner with bungee cords, then there's never any slack in the banner & they give (stretch) when the wind blows. I have never had a banner break, tear out a grommet, stretch or any other kind of damage that would be caused by winds.And B/C are very cheap & a great way to protect their banner from normal damage.
