Everybody coming to Mass Mayhem.... so here's the deal.. I would like to work together with everybody coming to come up with a design for Howie's truck Zimmern Sign Supply helped out a bunch last year and again this year. So we is gonna letter his truck! The copy for the truck- Zimmern Sign SupplyNewburyport, ma 1-800-462-1009 He has been using a logo of sorts for a while which is a "Z" in a circle so there is the assignment, lets get to work! the finished design wwill end up getting made into full size patterns, 2 designs can be done after all... there is 2 sides to every truck
I do have to limit partisapants to people coming to the meet. sorry

Hi Ken, I havn't sent my $50 yet, but I am DEFINITELY coming. (I'm trying to but a PA amp at the moment).
I'd submit something but it would help if I knew more about what kind of truck and colors. Pickup? Box truck? Bare aluminum? Corregated?

Ad, Good to hear ya coming, now I gotta get some t-shirts the truck is a ford box van, white, I think its about 12' - 14' it has one of those unicel bodies so no rivets! he says he doesn't want the graphics to be too big right now it has 2" black helvetica on the nose, it needs us!

I see the style that Joe posted and it makes me think "ZORRO"! Some Zee dealie tearing or slashing through the side of the truck (in a circle of course)!

hopefully we can work together to come up with 3 or 4 designs to show to Howie, I guess he should get to pick. I think we can even pick 2 designs to do... there is 2 sides to the truck. I like the design Joe but we need to think team job too, maybe we could incorporate some gilding or airbrush work, maybe do a special technique to use on the letters or the circle... how about marble, granite or chrome bevels. just to give some background, if you have never met Howie he is a melo laid back dude who hasn't cut off his hair yet, a faithful fan of Jerry Garcia. He is a small distributor who serves his customers amazingly well with 2 trucks delivering up deep into Maine, N.H. and all of Massachusetts. I don't know how he does it but he sells vinyl by the yard, signfoam by the sq. foot, still has quills and seems to have what ever you need all the time How about a slogan "Here comes Howie" or "have no fear, howie's on the way"
