That’s the question I ask my customers as I use Rapid Tac. They usually wince, squint and say “Vanilla and airplane glue” or machine cutting fluid or a blend of everything that ferments.

What’s it smell like to you?

To Roger………………..money smells like Rapid Tac.

To a plumber………….. money smells like Sh*t.

I’ve always thought it had a Carmel fragrance....Rapid Tac that is.

Hey Jon, Yes the service was fantastic... now I did'nt mean to imply that I don't get good service from our other supplier, EM Plastics cause we get great service... all the time! It's just that when you order something at 4:so in the afternoon you may not always get it that day, especially during rush hour.

I think it is the sweet smell of alcohol. [Eek!]

Yep Vanilla and alcohol.

Vanilla definitely.

I guy I used to work with would mix up this drink that looked and smelled exactly like Rapid Tac. (can't vouch for the taste though, never drank aplication fluid)He'd keep it in a 'lil spray bottle in his tool belt and nip off of it all day. I wonder if I could get the recipe? Hmmmmm....

There is the fragrence of Vanilla in there, but NOT natural Vanilla(this would be like sprayin motor oil on yer vinyl).

Vanilla was my choice when building final formula, it has always been "calming" yet invigorating at the same time !!

Put some behind your ladies ear(or wherever) and watch what happens to ya !!

I had to make it smell better, cause I was sick of "stinky" products in industrial shops for too many years !!

What's it smell like to me? I've said it before...French Vanilla Cappacino! Using Rapid Tac in the afternoon induces serious cravings. The local coffee shop is benefiting from our use of Rapid Tac. The vanilla is a wonderful scent - good call Roger.

Some reason race car guys really like the smell of it.

But what happened with Prep, Tac II, and remover they don't smell near as nice?

You ever notice after spraying Rapid Tac around that it gives you a temporary sore or scratchy throat? Nope, not drinkin' the stuff. But this is my experience....it subsides after about an hour.

I finally figured out that the wet method works fine with water and a few drips of dishwashing detergent (with no lotion of course.)

I like Rapid Tac Roger.....but it's WAAAAAAYYYY overpriced for what it does. But my hat's off to you for developing a product that works well and fills a need, if not your pockets. [Wink]

Well Todd, after 15 years of marketing Rapid Tac around the world, you get the award for the first complaint of sore throat !!
We have had a couple customers report to a hosp. after drinking it though !! He he he he he

A trip to a medical professional may be in order for you, let me know if you need any info.

Addressing your "overpriced for what it does" statement,
1- have you ever performed a time study on applying vinyl? I have.

2-One trip "back to the shop" to cut new vinyl cause you stretched or tore it= aprox 1 hour(40.00?) 1 gal. Rapid Tac=28.00 ???????

3-Standing around in the COLD weather waiting to pull trans tape off, or making another trip back the next day= another hour or more (40.00/60.00)
1 gal. Rapid Tac=28.00 ???????

Nope there’s nothing in soap and water to "help the adhesive bond", only slippery water for positioning.

Now, about those pockets of mine, they are definitely not FULL, I have room in them for more, that’s why I keep workin Todd, just like you and everyone else here !!
