What type of paint is good to use for painting some lettering on a paved parking lot? It is not a newly paved surface. Any tips for applying will be greatly appreciated.

Most paint stores have "Striping Paint" made just for that! Usaully in white and blue (handicap slots). Just ask for parking lot paint! [Smile]

I've used FPC Hydrophast fast dry waterborne traffic paint. You can apply with an airless sprayer or brush and roller. I would sprinkle some dry sand between coats for traction, and top off with glass for some reflectivity.
