WE HAVE A MUTOH 621 PLOTTER AND HAVE LIKED IT FROM THE START. HOWEVER IT HAS BEEN HAVING A PROBLEM COMING ON WHEN WE TURN IT ON. WE NEED TO CLICK THE SWICH MANY MANY TIMES. THE SWITCH HAS BEEN CHECKED OUT AND IT WORKS. WE THINK IT IS SOMETHING ELSE BUT GERBER BOUGHT OUT THE RIGHTS TO SELL THAT TYPE OF PLOTTER AND WON'T HELP US. WE ARE TOLD IF WE WERE IN A DIFFERENT COUNTRY WE COULD GET HELP FROM MUTOH BUT NOT IN THE USA. DOES ANYONE KNOW THE ANSWER?

June,

Have you contacted Mark Porter at SoCalGraphics Systems?

markanon@earthlink.net

Their fax number is 714-848-8335.

Also, if you haven't already..... http://www.mutoh.com/tech.htm

I hope this helps.

Hi, June,

What you are saying suggests that the switch works on a hit-or-miss basis. Sometimes they just don't "snap-over" quite all the way. Got a sander like that--- just when you think it is off, and go to put it down, it starts up again. Then it's all rear ends and elbows trying to catch it before it commits suicide off the edge of the bench.

Instead of trying to find a Mutoh switch, maybe it woud be easier to put in a new power cord with an in-line switch. Just my .02.

Say hi to Jack for me , we met several years ago at one or the other of the shows in Ohio.
