We are investigating the merit of welding our own pvc banners and seek advice and comments from users of both Hi Frequency and hot air machines.
As understand it, the jury is still out on the Hi Frequency machines as the sales people can not tell me with any certantity that continued use and exposure will lead to the employees cods dropping of and hair and teeth falling out.
Any body know about the Miller Weldmaster seaming machines?
Any information on whether they work well or not would be appreciated as I am not keen on getting one down to Australia only to have a problem and be a zillion miles from help and parts

We have a Miller Weldmaster at one of the places I do work for, a gint inflatable company. It is a massive contraption. It uses a hot air jet between the layers of fabric which then go thru a pair of rollers. It is rather tricky to operate, and will give nasty burns to an unattentive operator, according to the guy who runs the thing.
