I don't know about you ...... but isn't it fun to play with words? Of course it matters what mood you are in......but here are a few of my choices of fonts for the words shown. I would love to see some of your words that you have matched to a certain font. Word play.. kinda fun for a cloudy Saturday afternoon ......... maybe I should have made them all just black and white...that is fun too.

Cheryl, Sounds like it's time to sit down with a double margarita and just watch the rain girlfriend ! Bob

Pat, Here it is in his own words....
I had an assignment in graduate school to select a typeface for ten different words to make them look like what they said. One wouldn’t choose the same typeface to sell a negligee that one would to sell bulldozers, for instance. - Al Zanetti

Yes Pat....that is what I was talking about. Al knew what it was all about for sure. But it is fun to dink around with words on the computer too. Oh Bob......I took your advice. *HICK*....good idea! Urp

It's a unique kinda challenge to find just the right letterstyle to fit the words.....
Yes Bruce!!! Now that IS a Smokin letterstyle! I love it! (thanks!) What program so you use? Because as you can see.....my layouts look kinda 'flat' compared to yours Bruce. And Rob.....you go ahead and milk that baby as long as you like.....it is awesome!! Thanks for playing guys. I was begining to think I was weird.

Cheryl, I really like what you did with "summer"! That font is a real sizzler for it. Add a yellow sunburst somewhere, and your cookin' even more.
Nice pick for "spring" too. Like that "g".

Thanks Nettie
Yes Mikey.....I dinked while I 'drinked' and was my weird little self. Y'know...the usual....

Cheryl,
sounds good to me! just the punch we need to start spring out right! Keep them coming. It's time to introduce customers to spring fling signs now and no better way to do it with signs that speak for themselves, huh!

Hey Lettervillians....
This post is more inspirational than the portfolio table. Great work all. Sorry that I don't have any contributions right now. Way too busy and when I'm in production mode I don't get very creative. The last thing I designed was my band logo. Maybe Cheryl can post that 'cause I have no idea how.
Keep on keepin' on!

Marty's logo....nice huh!?!
In his words:
Here is the HEADWATER logo. The significance of the name and logo is that all the members of our band are from a region in Saskatchewan called the Headwaters of the Assiniboine. Note the "W" stylized with a river. Some will recognize the basic font as one of the complementary font's made available to Letterville Residents though it has been tweaked a little. Not a huge creative effort but I like simple clean easy to read logos.
