I need help with picture posting.

I thought I had it figured out.
I have done as Barb said, Opened a site on Webshot to load the picture to.

After loading them I go to properties and right click the img. Next hit select all and copy

Next I will go to this site to post the image.
I next select the Image icon on the screen and paste the image into it.

In the portfollio I loaded 2 pieces up and reviewed them. They were there but after leaving I when back and found the little box with the Red X in them..

Were am I going wrong?

Any help with this will stop myself from pulling my hair out.

Thanks.

Steve,

I don't think you can do the "Cut and Paste" thing. Go to your web site, and get all of the pics info ie: www.blaaalaaa.com/imagename/ect.

WRITE THIS DOWN.

Click the image button at the bottom of this message screen like this:

Enter YOUR info,BINGO!!

Hope this helps.
Mark

P.S. Another Victory for the BatBus Racing Team!!

If you want to do it longhand, upload your pics to the server of your preference, then when you are writing the post on the portfolio page, either cut and paste or type in the url of the pic/s.
With no spaces, add to the end of the address.
Unless the server hosting your pics is set up otherwise, the pic should display.
HTH,
David

Stephen, a week ago I looked up Barb's instructions, opened a Webshot account, uploaded a pic, did the other doo-dah and got a red x just like you are reporting.

Then I uploaded the same pic into the memory that comes with my DSL package, copied the link, did the other doo-dah and the picture came up just fine.

The point is, I think the problem is Webshot.

Send me the pic, I will upload it and send you the link so you can post it. This will confirm that you are doing everything else right. You probably are. Vic G

Thanks Victor and all

I opened a new Website and with a little help from Barb and Steve I can now post pictures to the board.
Some samples under Portofolio page.

Victor I understand that Webshot is now owned by ExciteChat and are under renovations.

Thanks again folks I think I got it!

Steve, where did you open the new site that does the photos OK? Did the photo come out the same size as what you published?

Rick
My system is on Sprint.ca and they offer a free webpage service as well.(All the time you can handle for $22.95 a month)

Never liked it in the past but they just upgraded in this week.
So I thought I give it a shot.

It's abit slow on the uploads but yes to your question of sizing

One nice about the uploads is once they are placed you can edit the picture size on the web board to your liking.

Don't know if is the same on others but works for me!
