THAT...... is a ugly truck.

Is that the TONKA truck at the Detroit auto show?

Didn't I see a truck like that in "Who framed Roger Rabbit"?

I like it! What is it?

I think that is the Tonka truck (made by Ford?). When you open the door the whole truck lowers to make getting in and out easier.

Popular Science for Feb. 02 has a story and pics of Fords Tonka. This looks a little bit different. Whatever, both have doors with room to play with paint or vinyl or whatever else turns you on. Just wish the current crop of truck "stylists" would pay attention. Not much room to play on this bunch.

Yep, that's Dodge's new concept truck.. I wish they would produce their "Sidewinder" concept truck they had a few years ago.. THAT was a sweeeet lookin truck, right down to the tires with the snakeskin tread patterns!

Ford's TONKA is the new F-350, and it's a massive beast.

You can check out all this year's concept vehicles at http://www.cardesignnews.com whether they're intro'd in Detroit or previously displayed overseas.

This is just too good to pass up--- I wonder if anybody told the big brains at Dodge that an M80 is an explosive device (spell that as firecracker) handy for clearing drains and blowing up toilets.

Bill,

Did you blow up some toliets when you were a kid?

Bill Preston....the original Bart Simpson! Hehehe...

Oooooooooooh (to the truck.)

Hay don't knock Bart, he did some research on some pretty mind boggling issues, for instance, did you know that goldfish don't bounce? LOL

The only hope for that thing is to severly slam it...like about a foot. As it is now, if you had to put u-joints on it you wouldn't have to jack it up

I second that..THAT IS A UGLY TRUCK! If it was given to me I'ld sell it & purchase a GOOD LOOKING TRUCK

Well, I happen to LIKE ugly trucks...ask anybody. But I don't care for that one - aside from a flat door area what IS the special potential for lettering? Trying to make it look good?

Good looking trucks died with the last 1969 396 El Camino SS.
