are there any Yellow and Purple Rectangle box trucks?
Posted by Kathy Joiner (Member # 1814) on :
So Joe, does this mean that the square is now a copyright infringement?

Hey Paint... I would venture a guess that the combined wealth of H&R Block,AT&T, and Nationwide will soon rival that of Boone & Pribish... I guess it's time we get goin again..bud! I think we need to do some "corporate visiting".. Let's straighten em out!!!!!Once and for all!!!! Shall we drive your Volvo to "headquarters?" What if it snows on the way?

Recently, I witnessed a high dollar Branding inititive change an fairly nicely conceived internationally known logo complete with 3 color fade to the single word company name in all caps Ariel. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhh! They could have at least incorporated a square!!!!

I designed all of them with my latest clipart collection. The one that I'm still waiting for a triangle to complete.

I guess it would be in bad taste to ask for a "copy" of that great new wave font I guess I'll just have to revert back to the old fashioned way and try to DRAW it! Anyone seen my ruler and drafting board???
Posted by Gavin Chachere (Member # 1443) on :
Joe,if this disturbing trend of alphabetization continues in a pattern like A,B,C,D,.....i would IMMEDIATELY go buy 2copies of Catcher in The Rye(cd clipart version) and notify the CIA and NSA before this kind of attempt at mind control takes hold and we're all forced to watch&listen to The Titanic repeatedly and -THEY- take over....

I'd like to thank you guys!!
The BOX is the answer for my new logo.
You made the light go on. I'M SERIOUS!!!
I finally thought of the answer to designing my new logo for my new truck.
It has stumped me for the last month... How come our own stuff is always so tough???
I want to do it a little different than you guys pictured (so I ain't paying no royalties) SUE ME I think I can handle the artwork myself too so I don't need clipart
I'll turn the box diagonally and write my wiggly font -all original and hand done ( so no font begging here either) I'll use the same dragon logo/mascot as before.
By sticking it through both sides of the box it symbolizes my penchant to do the same (thinking out of the box)
Gotta go. timme to draw.

Does that mean if I do pye R Squared I can'y use a circle as it is copy writed as a square. Just a little bit of round humour

I just e-mailed TARGET and thanked them for being on the cutting edge of logo design.
What kills me is they add a tinge (more than a dash, but less than a smidgin) of color and then pay big bucks to "Copyright and Trademark" the "new" color.
Give me a break!

I mistakenly miss-stated my case. I meant to say that I wanted dibs on the diamond. It is sort of square shaped if you look at it an an angle.
Just don't tilt your head and we'll all be ok.
