It was at the end of the school year, and a kindergarten teacher was receiving gifts from her pupils. The florist's son handed her a gift. She shook it, held it overhead, and said, "I bet I know what it is. Some flowers." "That's right" the boy said, "but how did you know?" "Oh, just a wild guess," she said. The teacher held the package overhead, but it was leaking. She touched a drop of the leakage with her finger and touched it to her tongue. "Is it wine?" she asked. "No," the boy replied, with some excitement. The teacher repeated the process, taking a larger drop of the leakage to her tongue. "Is it champagne?" she asked. "No," the boy replied, with more excitement. The teacher took one more taste before declaring, "I give up, what is it?" With great glee, the boy replied, "It's a puppy!"
 

As long as you don't shoot it up or drink it, it
is fairly harmless. Doesn't hurt the skin, at least the type I have used.
 

We are careful when using metal rivits when attaching changeable copy track. The expansion and contraction rates of the plastic in certain climates. We use the gluing method and have pretty darn good success with it.

We have a tempeture range of 0-90 degrees during our year, give or take year to year. This is hard on track because it swells in the summer and starts to buckle because the rivits do not allow the track to expandequally. The track will expand better with the glue.

I do suppose that using both would be OK but, having never that, I really can't say. I do think that gluing is also esthetically nicer because of the lack of dark rivits when back lit.

So what you're saying is; as long as I don’t boot it, drink it or put the sharp pointy end in my eye I’m ok.

I got a demo of how this fusing liquid works, from a sign shop in Edmonton , probably one of your competitors and was quite amazed at how well it worked. Perhaps you meant that over time it has failed you or do you mean in the initial set up?

I do have an understanding of how this stuff works…………I was just a bit concerned about its content.

The rivets would never show through on a backlite………..they are hidden by the sign face frame.
