I did a little more to the website. The contacts and portfolio page is finished for now. Still a dead link to the quote request.

I would like to know how fast it loads each active page. Especially those using dial-ups.

Thanks! Happy New Year!

The load time is fine. The portfolio page is cool, I love the roll-overs. A couple didn't work, I reloaded and they did work? Looking great!

Hey Amy....not bad for "on the job training"!

Nice job Amy!
My dial up (21,000-25,000bps) loaded in under 30 seconds. That's a good time frame for me and my modem.
The porfolio page fooled me, I'm used to clicking the thumbnail to get the larger view. I like the way that page works!
And I like the work on that page.
Nice work all around.

Looks good except for the text images are overcompressed and fairly illegible. I would make the "blankbox.jpg" a 16-32 color gif.
Load time was ok on my dial-up.

Looks great Amy! My connection is always really slow but your website loaded pretty quickly.

Nice job!

Loads quick, but everything is too small to see any detail - I don't know what "rollovers" are ???
no way to enlarge portfolio pics. I'm on MAC/AOL - and that may have a LOT to do with it?

Hi Amy

It loaded very quick. On cable so it should. The rollovers look great. Loved that copper moon sign and the Smaltz sign. Great work and great site.

Great looking signs Amy! I wish I had half that many fancy looking signs under my belt, & the various skills that they require. The years go by & I just don't seem to get the high end demand, but I know I am to blame for not studying, practicing, & showcasing that kind of work. I am inspired.

BTW the "request a quote" page had center justified field titles, but left justified fields on my browser(Netscape Communicator 4.7)It looked like a glitch, but reloaded the same way.

Thanks for checking it out everyone. I think it is all finished now. Quote request form and all.

Doug, I don't know why you're having problems with it in Netscape. I checked it out here and all was fine, but I have a newer version. Maybe you should upgrade.

I look at the stats very often that are provided by my host and 95-98% of the viewers have been using Internet explorer 4 or higher.

How much effort have you put into learning Dreamweaver? Did you use some sort of template or did you create the whole thing on your own?

You did a terrific job! I especially like how you did the roll overs with the pics on the portfolio. I've tried learning Dreamweaver, but I just can't seem to get my head around it without developing a migraine.

Nice sight Amy, very clear and crisp, pleasing to the eye.

Load time no problem, like the rollovers, might use them on my sight.

Good work.
