Howdy folks. We were deleting stuff from the computer the other day & got rid of everything, including the default windows fonts. Now everything looks like crap. Can someone tell me what to do? Yes, we deleted them from the recycling bin. Thanks in advance!

re-load windows, perhaps? Were you trying to clean things up and make room? You can also get help from the microsoft web sites.
Good Luck.

Felix, There are about 10 fonts that Windows uses across the board to operate windows. Other programs do the same. Also symbols. The default symbols cannot be deleted without problems either. Just go and redownload your windows fonts from Windows disc. Do not put over about 300 fonts in Windows font folder. I put about 900 in a couple of years ago and my computer would not even move. At 300 + you will start getting a noticable decay of memory. When you get organized, start using Font Navigator furnished by Corel, or Adobe program for their fonts. Bronzeo

Like Jerry said....you will have to reload Windows to get those specific fonts!
After deleting a bunch of stuff..... NEVER empty the Recycle Bin until you run your computer and see if it still runs OK!!!!!!
*sob* ask me how I know *sob*
