I have been away visiting my in-laws over Christmas...but thought I'd wish you all the best, during the festive season...and A very Happy New Year.

WE have recently last week experienced temperatures down as low as -27c (-17f), and we must have had over 3-4ft of snow, its compacted down now to about 2ft! So its very seasonal for those in sunnier climates.

Plenty of elbow work clearing and keeping things open, we seem to get around quite well here with studded tyres and cars built for this climate.

Have a good break those who are taking time off!

Hey, Henry!

Yup... Looks like you got plenty of snow. We haven't got the cold temps that you have but we got plenty, and I do mean plenty, of snow. LOL!

This has been a peculiar winter, thats for sure.

Have a great one!

I am so jealous! We are patiently waiting for some snow for an excuse to go outside. Rain and wind isn't nearly as much fun.

I think Dana sould respond as
Buffalo got a record 3 feet in one week...

It may have been more.

Haven't seen her on the site so am only thinking she is still shoveling from the inside out!

Dana are you still out there?

yes, Stephen...

Record setting snowfall here this week. Buffalo got just 82" of snow in just 5 days. Up here in Niagara falls, Dana and I have just around 15" of snow in the yard.

We have 24", give or take at the shop. Thankfully we have a guy come plow the driveway so it's not that big of a deal.

It was just amazing to get that amount of snow in such a short period of time. It gets tough to deal with but we all do the best we can.

Have a great one!

Well Henry.....your snow looks absolutely beautiful. Seattle has been sunny and warm! I was lettering a window outside yesterday and it was almost 60 degrees! It was so nice I took my coat off. But snow is especially nice at night with a crackling fire blazin' and a sip or two of Baileys Irish Cream..no?

I'm delighted that those that love snow get to live with it and those of us that wish to not live with it can still see it on this BB!

I never saw a snow shovel with a handle that goes all the way through like that.

Well, down in Sunny Australia, we're hitting the 90s and 100s, so if you can send dome of that nice cold white stuff over here? Just dump it in my back yard so I can make a snow man. I've never done that before.. or even seen snow in r/l. It's just too damn hot here!!

Well, hope you are enjoying the cool, as we blow up the inflatable pool and dip in the nice cool water to cool down *grin*

From Katie

I was running the air conditioner in the car coming home from the Lightning game tonight. If you want to see nice weather check out the Buc game tonight. The stadium is about a mile and a half from my house.

This was last January, but thought I'd share. My daughter Amys' fort was "colored" with Supersaokers and spray bottles filled with water, some with foodcoloring (ran out) then with Createx Auto Air.

The kids will love it!!
