I would like to make this a new post.
I posted a message yesterday came onto the internet tonight to find 15 replies. I could not believe the amount of people willing to share & help from this website.
I have recently started a new British website. " www.uksigngroup.com " (sorry couldnt resist)
It also has its own message board but I never have had so many respond to a message in such a short time. "I thank you all very much". And hope my site becomes as successful as this site has. I guess its true what they say! "Everything's bigger in the states".

Would that be, "Everything is Larger in Canada"?

Steve!!! How un-Canadian of you!!

You know as well as any Canadian that we are not supposed to show any pride in anything Canadian!!

Well except maybe beer.

I am with Steve King on this topic. We (the Canadians that frequent this site) must realize that what we have here is a Canadian developed idea (by the Shortreeds of Fergus, Ontario) that has sold well in the U.S. and other parts of the world. It is one more example of our export based economy.

Becasue Steve and Barb have a good understanding of the sign business and the Letterhead spirit they have developed a web site for us that is way better than other webbie sign sites.

We (the Canadians) need to wave the Maple Leaf and boast more about the origins of the Letterhead site.

Now would someone please pass the maple syurp...I need some more on my Canadian bacon. I will have another shot of that Canadian Club to!

Sam,
You will get a quick, helpful response anytime you use this board. The Shortreeds of Canada definitely deserve all the kudos for putting it together, but we are all neighbors in Letterville..no matter if you live in Canada,American,Norway,UK, or any of the tropical isles.
Wishing you success in your new website.
Judy

Hi Sam,

I wish your UK site well. I am a Brit born in Tavistock, Devon raised mainly in Dorset, but moved to Mid-Wales in the late 70's.

I have been frequenting this site on a daily basis since the mid 90's, it is by far the best sign-related site on the net. I used to visit a few of the others....but the content was never as good....that goes alot for the people and their posts.

It's had its up and downs...some great people have come and gone....but for the mostpart...people are always pleased to try and help out...whatever the situation and whoever you might be.

Here in Sweden people keep themselves to themselves so getting sign people together like this is an uphill struggle. Maybe Ray Hill and I as foreigners here can change that somewhat.

After living here for 12 years I hope I haven't become too Scandinavian myself!
