Does anyone know her? Is she a letterhead?
Got an E-Mail from her with a message I couldn't access. The reply was rejected because of some technicality. Have no idea what she wanted and can't contact her. Can anyone help?

Be careful Bill, that's probably the same virus talked about below. Not a real bad one, but a virus just the same. Get rid of it.

Bill,

Do not open ANYTHING from anyone you don't know!
Actually, even attachments from those you do know may be viruses sent to you without them even knowing it.
Got two emails this morning from folks I've never heard from. Norton Anti-virus caught them from the get go.

Bill, I would strongly recommend that you get the latest version of Norton Anti-virus if you don't already have it. The later versions are designed the catch this stuff right away.
That may have been the technicality you experienced.

Take care sweetie!

I've never heard of her either and I got one from her too, Bill. It was deleted before it could do any harm.

Bill,

I'm pretty sure you have a virus. My software caught an e-mail From: "Maryann Rogers" <_maryann@riedelsignco.com> and immediately sent up a warning on it.

Like was mentioned above, Norton Antivirus 2001 is great software. I think I only paid about $50 for mine.

Good Luck

I love Norton.

Since getting a cable connection and getting the last worm, I've set my Norton Anti-Virus 2001 to scan all of my e-mail as it comes in; update the virus definitions everyday; and scan my entire system as I sleep every Saturday night.

Its a great program.

Thank you everyone for the advice. I apologise to all for this error, really feel bad about it.

It not uncommon for an unknown to E-Mail me for information or help on something and I've always enjoyed being able to help.

Maryann Rogers is my daughter and her computer picked up the virus from mine.

Thanks again for understanding.

Hi Bill,

The only reason I have Norton's latest software on my machine is because I lost all my jpg files to a virus last year.

I was infected un-intentionally by someone I knew.
I may have ended up infecting others too.
That's how it works ... the only one to blame are the monsters who start these viruses.

Seems we all learn this stuff most effectively when it directly affects us. Don't feel bad about it, but do run out and get that software!

You'll be covered for the next time.
And unfortunately, there will probably be a next time. Norton has caught several viruses for me since.

I'll cast my vote here for Norton, too. Mine is set to check every email and I've had four viruses or worms in the last month or two. Twice it was from people I knew; but, of course, the virus was using their address book to do its dirty work. The people themselves hadn't sent any message at all. Norton is great...just remember to keep it updated so it's on top of the lastest perpetrators.

It is still on the move..........I just received and Deleted an e mail from "Maryann Rogers" with an attachment with message Re..

As far as I am concerned the creator of these Viruses should be treated when caught as an other Cowardly Terrorist............
What is your take on this...???????

what the virus creators need to make....is a code for finding the creator of the original virus...and returning all infected emails that was sent out....... back to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
