Barb and I are hoping to get together and spend sometime with as many Letterheads as possible. We've never been to Atlantic City, so we are looking forward to seeing this area. If possible, we're hoping to see New York City. Anyone have anytime to give us a tour?
Letterville needs more quality Merchants. We're determined to meet the vendors at this show and tell them the Letterville story face to face. I've got my running shoes packed and an ample supply of nitro to ensure we get around the whole show.
Our route to Atlantic City takes us to Niagara Falls. We'll spend the night with Bruce and Dana Bowers and then head east on I-90 to I-81 South and on to the Scranton, PA area. If you live along our route and want to get together, please post below this one and we'll try to contact you.
Where is everyone staying in Atlantic City? We're looking for a clean, reasonably priced place to stay. With the Canadian dollar at it's lowest point ever, our dollar is only worth 50 cents US. If you know of any bargains, let us know.
Talk to you all soon.
A competitor/friend and I are coming to AC on Friday and heading home Saturday. He has never been to a show, so it will be like the kid in the candy store for him.
If you run out of nitro tablets, look me up. You can borrow some of mine. See you all there.
I'll be down Friday - I think there's a Days Inn before you get near the boardwalk, off the AC Expressway.
But don't go too far off the main drag if you're staying near the boardwalk, - things do get seedy pretty quickly.
I think the USSC web site has the hotel info and rates.
Finally, after 6 years of knowing you through the board we can meet face to face! Looking forward to it!
If you we're coming down to AC through the Garden State Parkway, you could stop by here. Coming down from my old alma mater of University of Scranton you'd take Route 380 to 80 east to 280 e down to Garden State Parkway, but I think that takes you outta the way. Probably better off going due south from scranton via PA tpke, I'd imagine.
In any event, I'll see you there!
Dan
Can't wait to see you! Please come by and visit, I'd love to meet you and Barb in person.
We’ll be there Wednesday afternoon to Saturday afternoon. Since the show was moved to the new convention center, I have always stayed at the Sheraton, which is connected to the center. Sizeable rooms, very convenient, moderate price. May not be the best deal going. I’ve changed location this year to the Hilton. My wife and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary on Friday, so it was the perfect excuse to try something new. Hope to see many of you there.
If time permits, please visit booth #1331. It'd be great to meet you and Barb.
Regards,
Jim / Summa
We spent a wonderful afternoon and evening at the home of Bruce and Dana Bowers in Niagara Falls, NY. Dana created some kitchen magic with some pasta and meatballs while Bruce entertained us with his stories. Shame the Buffalo Bills lost another one Dr Cas.
Tomorrow we are stopping by to see Bob Timmerman in Dryden, NY. Bob operates a sign biz called Sunshine Signs. Those of you who have met Bob at Letterhead Meets know we are in for a great time.
We plan on arriving in Atlantic City sometime Thursday. If it's ok with Mark Smith, I suggest we use his Estimate Booth to leave messages for each other and organize something we can all get together for.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
I plan to be there thursday friday and saturday, will look you up sometime friday evening maybe, Chris King is supposed to make an appearance there too. maybe we can get together and convince one of those wonderful vendors to take ALL of us out for dinner. hahahaha or maybe we can just take ourselves out to dinner, I know of a few places on the mainland but not much in AC
You are certainly welcome to congregate at my booth and leave messages, etc. -- I'll keep a "letterhead corner" for the notes.
Booth # is 716. See you there!
