Hey there
I have been using Design Art Pro for about 3 years now and the upgrade has (allegedly)just come out. I was wondering if anyone else out there uses Design Art Pro and how they like it. and if they will get the upgrade......? I hope I dont take another beating like the last time I asked a question........ (lol)

I have design art pro.
i like it. Some say it is primitive but i believe it is an under respected proggie. . I use for most of my basic design and cutting work. Its faster than corel is some areas. easier than signlab in others. if u would like to discuss some options feel free to email me a phone number.....

I use ANA designart simply because that was the software that came with the plotter I bought back in '97. I use CorelDraw 9 for all my design and layout (Just works better in my opinion), then export it as an .eps (after converting text to curves) I really like my ae75 plotter.

Hi guys! Thought I was the only Anagraph user on here. We'll have to stick together as a small minority. Jerry, I like my ae75 too. It cuts vinyl and blast mask beautifully. I like how quickly and easily I can change to the drawing pen. Haven't bought the pounce set-up yet. But so far I really don't need it. I'm pouncing by hand.
Curtis, I'm glad to learn that you also use it. Does that mean that you are as simple as me? haha

Rich, I don't know if I would be interested in the upgrade or not. It would have to be an UP,UP,UPgrade. I think Jerry probably has the right idea in using Corel for the "good" designs, then exporting to Design Art and cutting from there. It is such a simple program that the dealer I bought it from demonstrated it to me and that was all the training I needed. I hope the upgrade has a lot more features, because I haven't run across any flaws in the program yet.

And Rich, don't be afraid to ask anything on this board. If anyone "rakes you over the coals" just consider yourself warmed up and ready to go! You're gonna love it here in Letterville. Welcome!
