Hi Mary..Sorry I can't help you with your request but I am very interested in why you are asking.

I have a couple of major customers who require a specific vinyl colour. One is 3M Palm Oyster. As far as I know I am the only person who orders that colour from my supplier and it is becoming a longer wait every time I order it. I am beginning to fear that eventually that particular colour might become obsolete and then will have to convince the customer to allow a colour change. It probably wouldn't be a huge problem but more of an inconvenience.

Is this the reason you are asking????

Dave,
The color has been discountinued and we have a customer that we have to use the color to match exisiting interior signs. Its a several story building and they are doing signs one floor at a time.We didn't choose the color, just inherited it.

I'm just taking a shot here, but do you have the new Avery charts. If I'm not mistaken, I think Avery was the vinyl manufacturer for Spartan Intl. I don't see premium Dark Titanium listed, but that doesn't mean that don't have same color listed under a different name.

Just a thought.

Mary,

I was ordering some items from Harbor Sales and asked if they had any SparCal film remaining. The answer was no, that just last week someone took the balance of what they had. Give Harbor a call (800.345.1712) and perhaps they can inform you who that “someone” is. Two other SparCal vendors I have used in the past, Vinyl Sign Supply 1-800-282-0245 and Pioneer Supply Co. 1-800-545-2233. Don’t know if they have any old inventory or not.

Yes Avery was the manufacture for SparCal and Universal Products brand films. I have been going thru the same thing recently with discontinued colors and. Most of the time it has been no big deal after explaining the situation and another color is chosen, others request the use of the EDGE to match the color to the best of our abilities. But then there was this one!!! (I don’t think we’ll be exchanging Christmas cards)

FYI, the SparCal 2ML discontinued colors are listed below.
