I can't take an ounce of credit for Charles' extraordinary talent, but I CAN take a tiny bit of credit in that I pointed him in the direction he finally took towards the airbrush. I 've known he and his family since he was a little snot. His talent in art in high school was more than obvious, but he didn't know where to "take it". So I clued him in on the airbrush and pinstriping and such, and Charles took it from there. He's the best I've ever seen.....really! See more of his stuff at his website: http://www.autoartbythekid.com/ Posted by Charles Armstrong (Member # 2439) on :
Hello, I just wanted to say that Bob Burns is one hell of a guy. I am fortunate enough to have been around him and that he took an interest in my artwork. He pointed me in a direction I would have never known how to get into. He taught me the basics of Shadowing, highlighting, Chrome, and answered every question a new kid could throw at him. He deserves all the credit in the world. without him I'd probably be flipping burgers, lol. Thanks Bob. Charles.

WOW!
That's all I can say about that bike Charles, it's simply awesome..
I'd almost swear you'd stuck real money under the clear man, that is SCHWEET!

Thanks for the compliments guys. The flames and pistripes are masked off, but all the money was done free hand with an Iwata Eclipse HP BCS. It took me 3 weeks to do just the flames. I am gonna do a full set of flames next on a car or truck, if someone can come up with the money... lol Charles

hey Charles, I have to tell you how much I enjoyed looking at your website. I was impressed to say the least! I was wondering who did that fire treatment on the cover of truckin'! I loved the money to burn bike as well as the bike with the gears under the graphic. keep up the great work. Hope to meet you someday and talk shop! Mike
