I am the new planning and Zoning Chairperson
for our TWP. The TWP. board is on me to come up with a sign Ordinace!! Lucky ME!! We our a small rual area and are wanting to keep it that way. But I want ot be Fair to all. So I am asking if anyone knows of a sign orinace that could help me! Please

I got roped in to this cause I have made a big fuss over what they have(had)as an ordinace
part of their ord. is a charge of 5$ a SQ.FT.per year and no sign bigger than 3x5 ft. see what I am
up for HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!

There are no perfect sign ordinances. The local merchants grumble about this one, but it is actually pretty good. There are some things I would change if I were king. One thing that makes it good is - it is short.

You have an interesting task ahead. I'm in the same situation here with our lack of code. We don't have one, but there are some rules that guide everyone through the planning commission.

If you get some good info, I'd like to see it as I am compiling as much as I can to get the ball rolling here.
