Anyone ever paint those plastic hollow Sign-a-Cade a-frames? Customer has white, wants to change to black. The face will cover most of the front but have to paint sides, handles and back. I would think Krylon would do it, but do I need to prep the surface somehow?

Our dealer runs a blow torch over the area we want to put vinyl on. This maybe worth trying. He said there is some kind of coating on it. This may help pay to adhere better.
Good luck

I have tried everything to paint those things with no luck, from flame treating and plastic primer to Automotive flex paint... no luck. Flame treat it and lay down intermediate vinyl on in the recessed area then stick away with vinyl. They are tough though, I have seen them run over many times and still lookin' good.
