So, here are a couple "views" into the future that I shot this morning with a digital camera, which explains the bright band of light screamin through the middle.. darned digital imaging artifacts
Yep, this is the paradise I call home.
Beautiful scenery. You are deffinately lucky to live in such a place, and you know the weather we get here in Mo.
Yep, I definitely enjoy the climate out here.. Late October and it's 90 degrees outside right now.. sunny as can be. =)
Tony, yep I know the winters in MO very well, yet I'm coming back to the St Louis area again this winter. =) Last year was the worst winter I can remember besides the one in '82, so I can't imagine this winter being so bad... unless it's just like last year.

We're right in most of the flight paths heading in and out of L.A.X here, not to mention the commercial jets flying in and out of our own airport so not only are the planes flying at low altitude, they're dumping fuel and the results of those in-flight snacks and softdrinks to drop weight for landing.
The trails can also be a result of the air compression at the tips of the plane's wings.. the air is compressed at the wing tip then expanded rapidly due to the vortex action, which freezes the air. It doesnt take much to freeze that air at 10,000 feet, the air temp is already about 20 degrees at that altitude this time of year in the mornings.
