I don't know how to post .jpgs on this BB, or I'd give yall an example.
I'd like to see the scans of your grandparents and ancestors as far back as you can go. Make these for your kids and grandkids. We are the generation to do this, because we have the old prints and new scanners.
A few years ago when I got wired, I scanned Mom's family album. The cousins got a real Xmas surprise, because most of them had never seen their great grandparents before. Neither had the nieces & nephews. Now, they can have all the copies they want.
And then I found a hometown-genaeology newsgroup, and a previously-unknown distant cousin who gave us a scan of our great-great grandparents. And then someone asked about an 80-some lady who happens to be an old friend of Mom's, and we were able to get them together, thanks to Mom's album.

Sam said Here's my little sweetie, who just turned 6! ---------- Not only is that a pretty young lady, it's a good photograph. One day she'll grab the camera and say "Sit still!" and return the favor.

My God Amy, you can't let a kid play with One shot paints that way. That is toxic stuff. What were you thinking?
