Why can't you use your own server? They all allow space for photos now days.
We got kicked out of Dave's World into Earthlink when they bankrupted and right in the main menu on Earthlink is the "My Web Space" button.
When you click on that button, two windows open.
1 window is for your computer, the other window is for Your spot in their server to store things.
You can store .eps files for downloading or images, or whatever you like.
To upload a picture is as simple as clicking on that file and dragging it from one window to the other, and they do all the rest in just seconds.

Your web server should be able to give you that service, and if they don't...start looking for a new server, because that is what you are paying for.
This is great for when I send artwork to clients or fellow Letterheads. I make it available as a download and give them the URL address.
After you've done it once it's wicked simple to understand. After you get a file transferred up there, you'll need to browse to your assigned page and type in a forward slash followed by the exact name of the file you transferred. Your dialup providers can walk you through what your exact file structure is to get to your reserved area on their server.
ie, say your server was gis.net - your space up there would be named something like www.gis.net/felix (ubb code will automatically make that last bit of type look like a hyperlink. don't bother clicking on it, it's an imaginary link). If you transfer an image file up there named "sample.jpg" it will show up at the address www.gis.net/felix/sample.jpg. Here's a cool thing - if you transfer up a data file instead of an image file, like an .eps file or a .ttf (font) file, going to that specific address will trigger an automatic download dialog box. So you can post pics OR downloadable files like Dave mentioned. It's not hard, it just seems that way till you've done it once.
There's not really any need to rely on others to help you post things. By doing it yourself you avoid all those complicated log ins and annoying pop-ups and frustrations that "FREE" sites force upon you. Good luck.
