As of this afternoon the wall is ready for some serious paint slinging. (Thanks again 1-Shot) The first picture below shows an add from May 2,1901, that is the basis for the design. The mural is actually being painted on the side wall that is shown in the add, towards the front of the building. I am told that this is an original section of the wall. Weather was nice today for the pouncing and marking of the wall, unfortunately, doesn’t look like it will be that way for the weekend. Possibility of rain showers Saturday and cooler temps (low 60’s) for both days. Going to have some fun anyway. Follow up pictures to come. (If I can find the water lens for the camera!)

Linda,

I believe between myself and the others we should have you covered. I’m not sure how often pictures will be posted, but I do plan to have some of mine up no later than Sunday evening. Not sure about anyone else.

A,

I’m not 100% sure; how about ~10’ x 18’. It is going to “grow” a little, as the image is a little “tight” to the blocked out area. I’ll make sure a finial size gets posted somewhere. Maybe some of these attendees will be making a trip of west next year to give you a hand?

It’s 9:15pm EDT as I write this and it looks like the rain is still just west of Pittsburg. Still clear and just below 70 degrees as of now. This front is supposed to move through quickly, arriving later tonight, moving out by morning. So with a little luck, we may be on the wall by mid to late morning. Although I haven’t received confirmation yet, I believe Deb Fowler, her son, and Rick Kubicki should be in the area by now.
