Okay, tentatively scheduling my meet for 22,23 & 24 March, 2002. The theme will be "Spring Fling, A Gathering of Craftsmen". I hope to have plenty of skilled artisans available and willing to provide workshops within the trade. Mark your calendars now, plan ahead and let's share our wealth of knowledge. Will post more info as it becomes available. But, first of all, we have to get through the winter !!!

Kingsland, GA is on the GA/FL line on interstate 95 just above Jacksonville. I am 20 mins from the Jacksonville airport, 2 hrs from Daytona, 3.5 hrs from Disney and 7 miles from the gateway to Cumberland Island. And, 6 hrs from Atlanta.
www.kingsbay.net will give you some idea of the area attractions. Hope to see a lot of newbees here this spring !!!

Hey John...

Since you have ripped the sign off your shop and cut it into little pieces, how in the world are we going to find you? LOL!

Sounds like a grand idea to me. I am going to have to give serious thought to going!

Have a great one!

This looks like it might be my first meet.
How far is Kingsland from Commerce GA

John,
Count me in. A side trip to Cumberland Island might be in order here. (for those who've never heard of it, it's a barrier island just across the waterway from John, untouched by civilization and incredibly beautiful - JFK, jr. got married there) And the skeeters shouldn't be too bad then either.

Ryan - from Commerce, about 4.5 hrs. Do you need a ride? This would be a great first meet for you. John has a solid Letterhead attitude and does incredible work. (plus, it's close to home)

Hey John,

Since you threw your sign away... Are we supposed to show up in person, or just all hit your website at the same time?heh heh

Count me in.

BTW I just noticed it is a "gathering of craftsmen", can the rest of us come too?

Thanks for the info Sonny. I will be coming from the Charlotte NC area. I asked about Commerce
becouse it takes 3 hours to get to the dragstrip there. I guess I better look it up on a map.
