Does anyone know the procedure to follow in order to add bitmap filters to Flexi 6.6. Is it a matter of copying the filters into a specific file?
Any help would be appreciated. My CJ-50 is coming in next week. Just trying to get ahead of the game..

Mario,

It is a fairly simple procedure, providing that your filters are in a location you can find.

Open your "Preferences" window, I think it's under 'Edit' (I'm at home, not at my shop). The preference window will have a tab named "Filters, or Plug-Ins" Click on the 'browse' tab, and locate your folder containing your plug-ins.

Since I have PhotoShop, I select the "Plug Ins" folder under C/program files/Adobe/Photoshop/Plug-Ins. (My Eye Candy filters are already located here too.)

When you hit enter or apply, all the filters in that folder are loaded into Flexi, and they show up under your Bitmap editing pull down.

This should work for you. Flexi is a top notch rip, utilizing Adobe PostScript 3 drivers.

Another "Heads Up" issue with Flexi Pro 6.6. If you are plotting vinyl, and you run into major problems, Flexi has a Service Pack you can download. It is a simple fix, but without it you'll be extremely frustrated, like I was.

You can download it at www.givemehelp.com -- Mark Rugen's Flexi Training site.
