Hi 'Heads, Looking for a supplirs for ready made wood sign blanks. I know if All-wood who makes cedar blanks, that are good for sandblasting, but what about Redwood?

Ken,
I have had better luck making my own.
I use vertical grain wood. I make my joints on the table saw and this leaves the striations from the saw marks which, I believe, gives the epoxy a better grip. Make sure your blade is set at 90 degrees and the fence is parallel. I then clean the the joints meticulously and arrange the boards for laminating so that the grain of each one is alternated in relation to the next. Clamp them just enough so that there is just some squeezout. No More. If the boards are bowed, turn the crowns the same direction. This keeps them from being under tension. This will give you a good quality blank.
