Hi......I need to make some signs that are going to possibly be backed into and run over. My customer wants the signs on portable posts that bend instead of break and damage the trucks. Thanks for any ideas and help!

Check out Zumars products, they are down in Tacoma. I have used them for break away safety posts that get epoxied to the concrete or Asphalt and they have all sorts of goodies like that. The number is 1-800-426-7967/

Hey Cher,

'round here we have alot of wind so the Department of Transportation has their road signs mounted on spring-loaded posts.

They wave in the wind but I've never seen one layin blown over on its side.

Maybe you can cruise the highway some night and snag some construction zone signs.. =)

Cheryl might be cheaper for them to teach their drivers to drive we tried a few different types of bendable signs on edge of road signage eg guide posts and the bendable ones only bend a couple of time before they break especially when an 18 Wheeler or a Bdouble runs over them.

wish I could help you on that one Cheryl, but never ran across that situation. They just run them over anyway they can, maybe the bump up might find someone who knows...
