Come one, come all!

Keith Klair of Letter Works is again hosting a walldog event in Mechanicsburg, PA. The event has been “bumped-up” to the beginning of October this year in hopes of having more favorable weather conditions. The event dates are Saturday October 6th and Sunday the 7th. Please phone Keith at 717.697.5517 or email at Letterwork@aol.com if you will be attending.

Bill Masters from Golden Signs will once again be project leader for the Hauck Bros. Hardware and Saddlery mural.

I’ll post some pictures from the last two events later this evening.

I would be interested in attending. Can you give more details? What is the theme based on?
Thanks, Deb, Creative Signs (Ohio)

I apologize for not replying the evening of the original post. I can not locate my pictures from the first event (1999). I’ll shoot some pictures on Monday of the two that were completed. Below are some pix from last years (2000) event.

The following is for those inquiring about accommodations and more details. Depending on the arrival times, there may be an open house/reception Friday evening at the Letter Works shop. In the past, pastries and beverages have been provided in the morning and pizza and beverages for lunch. The wall job for this year is going beside the one that was done last year (poor weather did not allow for two being done last year) and is located along Market Street in Mechanicsburg, just a few hundred feet from the shop.

Nothing formal has been established with any local establishments for lodging purposes. Following is a small, quick list. Anywhere in Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg, Carlisle will be close to the shop for those who want to search on there own.

Less than 50 miles from me. I'm going to try really hard to get there.

Gonna dig out the map. I got some relatives in that end of the state. Once I figure out which is closest, I'll do some kissing up and see if they got a couch I can bum for a couple nights. If I can swing it, I'll be there.

Bob,
I am already scheduled to be camping October 6-9 so all I would have to do is change my campsite. I will make some calls and get back with you. If I can get October 5th off I just might be able to make it. I had asked for it off once but I will ask again since I have a different supervisor at the moment.
Thanks,

Debbie,

Sorry to hear that; mark your 2002 calendar for Wall-O-Ween IV.

Everyone Else,

Before the week is out, directions will be sent and posted for everyone that confirmed or expressed an interest.

If you are planning to attend and haven’t contacted Keith yet, ( Letterwork@aol.com or 717.697.5517) please do so this week. An accurate head count makes things a little easier for final preparations.

C-U-There!
