I have a customer I have done work for several times that wants bumper stickers for her church. I've done em before for her, but only a small amount. Done em in vinyl. She wants 300 of them now. I don't want to weed that much small vinyl, and she had rather get them some cheaper if possible. Simple red lettering on white. Anyone?

I'd like to quote them as well, but being the swell guy I am, I'll tell you what I'd do if I were in your position....
call the local offset printers in your town, the ones you can trust not to stab you in the back on a customer. Usually, they can do a bang-up job on crack-n-peel vinyl on their offset press, and cut them to size. They will usually cut you 20% on your purchase, because you're going to resell it as well...
And if not - gimme a shout - I'll take a crack at it

Would somebody tell me what 'crack and peel' vinyl is? This is the second time i've heard that term and I would love to know what it is.

I saw some in the shop today... it looks like a nekid bumper sticker.
As I picked one up today, found in the bottom of the drawer that DIDN'T have what I was looking for in it... I thought of an Avery sticker label sheet only made of a plastic looking material and cut in small sizes. The backing was pretty thick thus "crack and peel" ...the backing snaps a bit when you bend it to peel it off.
I haven't seen any printed on at the shop yet, but I'll ask Ron (the Offset guru) about them and what he thinks of it and get back to you with some "inside information" (from one press guy).

Oh okay, kinda like the address labels you can buy for your printer? Or did I totally not get it?
Anyway, never knew they had that in a vinyl...but then again, there's lots of stuff i don't know.

No problem Shane, crack'n peel is a style of paper not really a brand name. (although you will see it as such on some release liners) If you've every gotten a sticker that had a split liner, you were holding crack'n peel. You 'crack' it at the split on the back, and peel it apart.
It comes in printer friendly sizes, like 11x17 and 8.5x11 so it goes thru an offset press. It's generally heavier than sign making vinyl, and comes in different textures and finishes. Its available at most paper wholesale companies and comes in reams.
It's beauty is the fact it goes thru offset presses and accepts regular printing inks. Nothing special really.
