They are not bugs! I know the difference. They do not taste anywhere near like what those bugs I have accidently had to swallow tasted like!

Don't smile when you ride a motorcycle, get see what bugs taste like...

Don't know if it was an urban legend or not, but I heard years ago somewhere out west, don't remember now(old age) anyway this guy was on his motorcycle out in some out of the way long strech of road hauling a**, they found him wrecked out and when they did the autopsy they determined that he had died because he hit a large bug(don't remember what kind) went into his brain thru his eyeball.
Like I said, probably urban legend, but who knows.....

Adrienne..Snails aren't "bugs". Snails are mollusks (or some kinda thing spelled that way! )

And they, like oysters are great eatin!

I prefer my oysters raw... and my snails cooked in garlic butter!

Hi Adrienne. I remember seeing a cartoon once. The scene was the front of a fancy up-scale restaurant, and their changeable sign was advertising a special on frog leg dinners. On the sidewalk, in front of this fancy restaurant, sat a legless frog, on a tiny push platform...selling pencils.

Folks sometimes say that I have a sick sense of humor, but I think it's probably more like perverse.

I laughed til I cried, people came running!

This is so unexpected and utterly hysterical.

I turned my mother on to snails, kind of let them "ride" into her life on a reputation of being even better than the garlic she loves by itself.
We were in a little cafe in Paris, she was about 70, and she still talks about it.
