Has anyone ever used "Dupli-Color Truck and Van" paint(in a spray bomb) for painting HDU? I know HDU will take any kind of paint but does anyone know how durable this stuff is?

I was contemplating spraying the HDU applique with about three coats DupliColor filler/primer/surfacer and then topcoating with DupliColor Candyapple Red followed by clearcoat.

The paint is an acrylic lacquer.

Thanks a whole heap.
