I spend many hours on a new type of sign for our new wetlands project it came up a treat the owners came and picked up while I wasn,t here and loaded it face down in the back of a truck full of gravel and come back and want me to fix it up for free they wish they sure did get an earful

Makes you wanna gag, doesn't it!

Last week they were in my shop ( LOL), to pick up screened 18x24's, neatly stacked on a table.
They wore a different hat of stupid that day. They said they weren's sure its OK to load them up, because they didn't know if they were dry.

Yep.....I had a couple of sign installers pick up a couple of 4x8's from me. The signs had color renderings....and were nice signs I spent a long time on. Well they shoved the first one face down in their truck full of cans, posts, shovels etc. Then they were going to shove the next one face down on their top rack scratching it along the way. I made them take the first one out...layed a piece of corex down and then told them to put the other one on top. They thought I was bossy....who cares? I thought they were careless.

Once in my baby sign painter days I got a call from a horse rancher for a sign and he was going to bring in his own board. (Well, sure, I know better, now) I saw him drive up with his horse trailer and he started to drag out a nice, new sheet of 3/4 inch plywood. "O.K., fine", I thought, "at least it's a new piece of material." and I went out to open up the shop. It took a few minutes for him to show up, and I was wondering what was taking so long -- here he came with the OLD FLOORBOARD from the trailer!! The NEW piece was a replacement for the stomped in, urine soaked one and the old one was for the sign.

And I was so dumb I used it. Silly me.
