When doing a radial fill with 2 colors, is there a way to get rid of the banding effect, from color to color?
I'm using clasical dot at 85.

Your LPI is too high for a 300 dpi print head. You need to drop it down to about 45 or even less.

Even at 75 LPI with my $30K imagesetter that has a 800 dpi printhead, there is a tendency to band unless the Postscript Level 2 is turned on.

John,

If you think of the Edge in the same manner as you would screen printing, I think that will help solve a lot of problems. You can hold a 55 lpi with a 305 mesh if you are careful, but not a 65 lpi. You would need to move up to a 355 mesh to hold a 65. And, if you are using an imagesetter, the printhead would have to be at least 600 dpi to print 65 lpi film positive.

The Edge is really no different.

I hope this helps.
