After a buyout rendered our ISP useless we we researched and hooked up to what we thought would be the solution. After a week of horror it was decided the computer was the problem...Patsee reformatted the hard drive (while I stayed clear for about 3 weeks) It wasn't a pretty site.Well any way, after another week of being told the modem was not working...(coincidence above and above the call)because it was working till hard drive was refomatted. With new modem in tact Patsee gets new error messages about "NO MODEM DETECTED TRY AGAIN ...CRAP"
She finally gets pissed (I'd have been weeks ago)and she WACKS the puter half off the desk.
BINGO...we're back on line and we missed you all and I'll bet you never knew we were gone.

That the trouble with withdrawel...you always feel as tho you experience alone.

Sure is good to be back tho!

You were gone?

As many years as I have been posting on this BB, a person is "gone" when they don't post for a year or so.

Like "Stiens", from Norway. I never see him post anymore, and so I kinda am starting to get the impression that he is "gone", AND I DO MISS "STIENS's" posts. Hope he is O.K.

Monet, (not a typo people...hehehe)

Tell your wife "good call!" We had this prob with one of our puters and it was a loose card. I wouldn't refer the whacking when a gentler technique is possible, however, I DO understand the frustration!

We sure are glad to know you're ok and that you're back!

(Pssst...saw Steins on chat the other day, he's fine!)
