My e-mail has been acting weird for the last several weeks. Fortunately, I have another address....

Anyhow, I use the Edge for anything from small warning decals to real estate agent photos on 4x8 signs to funky stuff on vehicles. If I need to do a full vehicle wrap, I don't use the Edge. Instead, I send the file to a company like Gregory or Ad Graphics and have them do a Scotchprint for me. Also, a fellow Letterhead here (Brian) has a Durachrome who would be glad to wholesale to you.
As for registering the plotter blade for contour cutting, its extremely easy and only takes a few seconds to do.
Yes, when you tile you are going to have overlaps. But, this is rarely a problem. If you go to the "Step-by-Step" page here in Letterville, you will find a magnetic sign that I designed in Corel Draw and printed with the Edge. There is an overlap on that one, but you would never be able to find it unless you looked at the actual mag up close. A good designer can design a job while keeping in mind the limitation of the equipment that will be used to create the actual product. That is what I did there.
In whatever you buy, have it demo'd. Ask lots of questions. Make the distributor earn his money. And, make sure that whoever you buy from has their own technical support team that will answer all of your questions. The two that I like the most are Hyatts and Advantage Sign Supply.

Warning: A well designed sign may cause fatigue due to increased business.
