We are in the process of making 200 Vinyl Banners. (30" x 60" - about 40% coverage)

Just curious what the preferences are in regards to transfer tape. We have been using
the R-Tape conform series, as well as the R-Tape clear.

As always, we value your opinions.

R tape is a pretty good product. I just went back to some of their tape because of poor quality of others.
A Speed Press might be a good option for all those banners too.

I think David may have the right idea for this job. A Speed Press would certainly be a time saver on that many banners, and the cost of transfer tape would be much less.

Mac Tac is who I think once advertised that their tape was reusable for eight or ten applications. There might be several tapes that can do that. To have a reusable tape and a speed press, might be the winning combination.

We have a large and a small speed press.

Unfortunately, each banner has a 28" x 28"
logo. Neither speed press will handle it. The graphics department is doing a great job
by "hinging" them.

I just want to be sure I have the best tape
in their hands, to make the job as painless as possible. They seem to like the conform
series a little better than the clear.

Incidentally, these banners will hang in gymnasiums for years to come. Is there anything we should do to prolong adhesion?

While we make a lot of signs and banners, they are still pretty low on our ladder of expertise. I feel better checking with the experts.
