Bob, Thanks for the notice, Jeff is an OUTSTANDING Artist...I am sure the Von Dutch Piece will sell out real soon....
I have been toying with the idea to do "something" about Ed Roth !!!!?????....
I am not quite sure yet as to what....Roth was a Charter Member of the Street Rod Association that i founded back in the 80's..He will be missed by all..Shep'

I couldn't find any pictures of that Von Dutch piece, so I'm guessing its 'coming soon' ? Sure will be anxious to see it.

Shep - if you do anything with Roth in mind, better get your lawyer involved. There is a lawsuit going on right now you wouldnt believe. Its almost as bad as the one involving the Cobra Daytona Coupe in Calif.. no good ever comes of mixing money and family, eh?

Roth was a friend of mine too, there never was and never will be another BDR. First time we ever talked, he chewed my ass out for 30 minutes because I wanted to talk about the old stuff first! LOL. Ed was living 10 years in the future most of the time.. I told someone not long ago that he's not dead, he just finally finished the "Futurion" and took it for a test spin.

You can be sure if I do "Anything" concerning Roth it will all be approved and royalties paid to the approptiate people.
By the way did you know Norm Grabowski was in an accident and had his hand crushed between a roadster and his own pick up ...he had delivered a new Gear shift and was taking a ride in the car ....when the throttle hung....

And Old Paint...I checked the prices too.........that is why I do a lot of "ART"

Thanks for the info, Shep. I had no idea Grabowski had an accident, how long ago? things ok now or was there permanent damage? Did ya ever see that unreal door he made for Kay Trapp's house in Arkansas, man that Norm can make exotic woods talk!

Next time you see Norm, ask him about his late night encounter with Johnny Mathis (the singer). Grabowski and Kent Fuller (inventor of the modern dragster, and other cool stuff. Another world class/legendary craftsman from SoCal) are out for a spin in Norm's T-bucket. They pull up beside Mr. Mathis, and Norm motions for him to roll down his window... as he does, Norm says in a snooty drawl, "What a fag you are, in your jag-u-ar".

Not something you'd do today in downtown LA, eh?

I hope he makes it thru ok. He's another of the icons of the golden era that will all too soon leave us.

Robb....this accident happened about 3 months ago,,,,Norm is going thru extensive therapy...however it looks like he will fully recover....
I can identify with Norm...when I was building my Log Home in Mt Airy NC I accidently put my left hand in to a table saw.....wiped out three fingers........they were reattached and after 6 mo of therapy I could use them about 60%...Now they are about 99% ok...Speaking of wood..I have a Cedar Log that Norm made in to a Jewel Box and presented to me during one of our Street Rod Shows back in the 80's..If you would like I will email you a photo, I would post it here,,but I haven't mastered posting photos on the BB yet. There don't appear to have any seams in it at first glance. I also have a Polish Silver Eagle Coin that he sawed out the background...(Left the Eagle suspended)..........Shep'
