I bid on 2 lexan sign faces, 2x7', yellow 3M translucent background. "Childhood" in large letters with each letter altnating yellow, green and blue trans vinyl. One line of small copy at bottom in dark blue.
A competing bid made it look like I was also charging for a limo to deliver the signs in...
I had $325 each plus install, they had 225 each including install(they are doing other work in the plaza)
Anyone care to price these out so I have some other price to compare to? I know everyone's area is different, but just would like to know if I'm way out of line.
Thanks

My price would be $350.00 each including install if it was in a "Mall" type situation and not over 10 mi from shop.

Your price sounds ok to me. I wouldn't do it for any less.

Alan, I'm about 1 1/2 hours from you. Your pricing is not out of line. About 6 months ago I did a 2x6 Lexan sign face w/2 colors and charged $350 installed. I was the lowest bidder.

Thanks for the response. I didn't offer to match the price and explained I thought the other co. was bidding low to get the job as part of their bigger job at the mall.
I didn't get the job, but the customer appreciates the effort and past work, and hopes to use us for their next project.
