While checking on the progress of a post about a potential meet of some sort in the New England area, I noticed a link Steve posted about Cam's Stonington meet. It was fun to look through those pics and remember that day. But what was most fun was seeing two of my pieces listed there om the photos page. Cool! A great way to get that fuzzy sign-thing purring again. What really kicks my grits is one of them is a hand painted piece - the kind of work I virtually NEVER do anymore.

I remember thinking at the time it was going pretty well for my rusty old brush skills. Then I never saw it again till just now. Not too shabby for my first attempt in (10?) years. Maybe you folks who still hand letter regularly could criticize it, but I gotta tell you, I'm thinking I'm pretty hot. Remember when EVERYTHING was done with a brush? Well, I still got it. At least enough of it to amuse myself. Paint on.
