I have spent the last month remodeling my house after it was leveled.(with the houseleveler type leveling) We found some problems like rotten floors under both bathrooms, and cracks and chips in the walls etc. This project has taken a lot of my time
away from the shop and made me realize that
I spend entirely too much time working.
So I decided to call Social Security and
see about drawing my pittance and kinda laying back a bit. The first shock I received is that Social Security is not even in the phone book. I looked under US gov'mnt. Social Security, and several other ways, front of the book back of the book and white pages and yellow pages. by the time I decided it wasn't in there it was too late to call.
I guess I will have to call information to find out.
Bill

There are some really good money managers around here They tell me that it is always better to start SS at age 62. They say the money you get from 62 to 64 plus what you get after 65 will always add up to more than starting at 65. They say take it even if all you do is put in the bank for later. You might check this with your own financial advisors. Vic G

Mista Biggs,

Glad to hear you're considering stepping out of the rush!

Had a couple of 'old'(haha) retired men tell me once:

"Don't wait til it's too late, or you'll die"

Good luck,
Cher.
